It’s no secret that more people are deciding to pursue a career in product marketing, but mapping a route into the industry isn’t always clear-cut.

Arpita is a professional with experience in driving engagement and growth for B2B and B2C brands and enrolled in the certification program as she sought support whilst pivoting into a product marketing role.

## Why did you initially sign up for Product Marketing Core?

I wanted to explore a career in product marketing but didn’t know where to start. I did extensive research and compared different courses in the market. I found the Product Marketing Core to be the most meaningful in terms of course structure and affordability. Hence, I decided to enroll.

## What was the best thing about Product Marketing Core?

I loved everything about Product Marketing Core. However, research, OKRs, and sales enablement were the most meaningful modules.

## What has taking Product Marketing Core enabled you to accomplish?

Firstly, I learned a lot of interesting new stuff. Secondly, recruiters started noticing my resume and asked me specific questions about the certification. I finally landed a job six weeks after completing it.

## What's the next step for you in your professional development journey?

Since this is my first product marketing job, I’m looking to grow into my current position as a product marketer and implement some of the things I have learned in my certification.

## Who would you recommend Product Marketing Core to?

I believe everyone has something to learn here, but I’d say it's a must-do for someone looking to break into product marketing roles.
