Kelly Farrell, Associate Product Marketing Manager at LinkedIn, was voted 2020's Newcomer of the Year at this year’s Product Marketing Awards.

Now in its second year, PMA’s Product Marketing Awards recognizes and encourages outstanding talent and hard work in the product marketing industry.

Product Marketing Alliance’s Newcomer of the Year Award offers newcomers the opportunity to step into the spotlight ahead of what PMA is sure will be a long and prosperous career in product marketing.

En route to the title, Kelly beat out some incredible talent from companies like Adobe, Google, and Comscore.

Though her product marketing career is still in its infancy, Kelly has already made a profound impact within the industry. In 2019, she was listed as one of the Top 50 Brand Marketers in The Drum - a celebration of the most promising up-and-coming marketers working brand-side globally. And now this.

Speaking about the achievement, Kelly said:

“I’m absolutely over the moon to be accepting this award. It means so much to me because of how long I wanted to be a product marketing manager, I want to thank all of my managers at LinkedIn who have helped make my dream a reality. It’s definitely been a whirlwind first year as a PMM and I’ve been incredibly blessed to work on some really interesting projects.

“I’d really like to thank my extended marketing family, my sales stakeholders, and my global product marketing partners, who have supported my learning journey and offered so much guidance.

“Lastly, I’d like to thank Product Marketing Alliance, they're just an amazing team of people who are working tirelessly to put product marketing on the map and raise awareness of the discipline globally. The resources, events and the communities that PMA have created have been such an invaluable resource to me and I’m really excited to see what the future brings.”

Richard King, Founder of PMA, commented:

“The added enthusiasm and dynamism of newcomers to the world of product marketing should never be underestimated, we’re proud to be able to offer Kelly this recognition for all of her hard work and commitment. All signs point to a long and fantastic career in product marketing.”
